Track your planning streaks
Build a consistent planning habit by tracking how many days in a row you complete your daily or weekly plan.
What are planning streaks?
Planning streaks measure how many consecutive days you have completed a planning session. They are designed to help you build and maintain a consistent planning habit.
How streaks are counted
Your streak increases each day you complete a planning session — whether that is a daily plan or a weekly plan. The key details:
- Streaks are based on when you plan, not what you plan for. If you plan on Monday for Wednesday's tasks, Monday gets the credit.
- One session per day is enough. Planning once on a given day increments your streak for that day.
- Miss a day and your current streak resets to zero. Your longest streak is still recorded, so you can always try to beat your personal best.
What is tracked
Do Everything records the following planning statistics:
- Days planned — The total number of days on which you have completed a planning session.
- Current streak — How many consecutive days you have planned, up to and including today.
- Longest streak — Your all-time best consecutive planning streak.
- Last planned on — The date of your most recent planning session.
These statistics are calculated automatically and update each time you finish planning.
Daily planning reminder
To help you maintain your streak, Do Everything sends a notification at 8:00 AM each day:
"Plan your day — Good morning! What would you like to do today?"
You can turn this notification off in Settings if you prefer not to receive it.
Tips for building a planning habit
- Start small — Even a quick two-minute plan counts. You do not need to schedule every task to keep your streak alive.
- Plan at the same time each day — Whether it is first thing in the morning or the night before, consistency helps the habit stick.
- Use the reminder — Keep the 8:00 AM notification enabled until planning feels automatic.
