Notes

Archive and organise notes

Keep your notes tidy by archiving what you no longer need, assigning notes to lists, and using tags and colours.

Archiving notes

When you no longer need a note in your active view but want to keep it for reference, archive it instead of deleting it.

  1. Open the note you want to archive.
  2. Tap the note menu (three dots).
  3. Tap Archive.

The note moves out of your active view and into the Archived tab.

Viewing archived notes

  1. Open the Notes tab.
  2. Tap the Archived tab at the top of the screen.

Archived notes are displayed in the same masonry grid as active notes. You can browse and read them as usual.

The Archived tab only appears when you have at least one archived note.

Unarchiving a note

To bring a note back to your active view:

  1. Open the Archived tab.
  2. Find the note and open it.
  3. Tap the note menu and choose Unarchive.

The note returns to your active notes list.

Assigning notes to lists

Notes can belong to a list, just like tasks. This keeps related notes and tasks together in one place.

  1. Open a note.
  2. Tap the List field.
  3. Choose a list and, optionally, a section within that list.

You can move a note to a different list at any time by changing the list assignment.

Adding background colours

You can give a note a background colour to make it stand out in the notes grid. Open a note, tap the colour option, and choose from the available colours. This is a simple way to visually categorise or prioritise your notes.

Using tags

Tags let you categorise notes and find them later using filters. Open a note, tap the Tags field, and add one or more tags. You can then filter your notes view by tag to see only related notes.

Tips for keeping notes organised

  • Archive regularly — Move finished project notes or reference material to the archive so your active view stays focused.
  • Use lists for context — Assign notes to the same list as related tasks, so everything for a project or area lives together.
  • Combine tags and lists — A note might belong to a "Holiday" list but also carry a "Bookings" tag, letting you find it from either angle.
