Planning

Plan your week

Use weekly planning to see and schedule tasks across all seven days of a week at once.

What is weekly planning?

Weekly planning extends the daily planning flow to cover multiple days at once. Instead of focusing on a single day, you see all seven days of the week that contains the day you are planning, so you can spread tasks across it. The week starts on the day you choose in Settings → Appearance → Start day of the week. Days that have already passed stay in view, greyed out, and you cannot add tasks to them.

Weekly planning is a PRO feature. Free users can plan one day at a time using the daily planning flow.

How to plan your week

  1. Open the Today tab.
  2. Tap Plan your day. From 6:00 PM, on a day that already has tasks, the button just reads Plan. To plan a later week, first tap a day in that week on the calendar strip, then tap Plan this day.
  3. Below the heading (What will you do today? or What will you do on this day?), you will see two chips: Day and Week. Planning always opens on Day. Tap Week.
  1. Browse your tasks and assign them to days and time-of-day slots across the week:
    • Any time — No specific time; just needs doing that day.
    • Morning — 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
    • Afternoon — 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
    • Evening — 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
    • Night — 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  2. Tap Next when you have finished scheduling, then tap Finish on the highlight step to complete your plan and return to Today.

Adding tasks during weekly planning

You can add tasks to your weekly plan in the same ways as daily planning:

  • Select existing tasks — Browse your task list and assign them to specific days and time slots.
  • Create a new task — On today or a future day, tap the + button within a slot. Tap Create new task to make a task scheduled for that day and time, or pick an existing task under Or choose from below. On a day with nothing planned yet, tap Add tasks instead; tasks you add that way are scheduled for the day without a time slot.

Highlighting your most important task

After scheduling, you will be asked to choose a highlight — the single most important task for each day. Highlighted tasks are displayed with a star icon and stand out in the Today view.

How weekly planning differs from daily planning

  • Same guided flow — The steps are identical; you are just working across several days instead of one.
  • Broader perspective — Seeing the full week helps you balance your workload and avoid overloading any single day.
  • PRO timeframe selector — The Week chip is labelled with a PRO pill for free users, indicating it requires an upgrade.

Planning streaks

Whether you plan daily or weekly, finishing a planning session (tapping Finish on the highlight step) counts towards your planning streak. It counts once for the day you plan on, so planning more than once in a day adds just one day, and a weekly plan does not count for every day it covers. We record your streak, and a place to see it in the app is coming.
