Add location to your tasks

Attach an address or location to your tasks, notes, and reflections so you always know where things need to happen.

What is location tagging?

Location tagging lets you attach a real-world address or place to your tasks, notes, and journal reflections. It is useful for remembering where errands need to be done, where meetings take place, or where an idea came from.

Location tagging is a Do Everything PRO feature. Free users will see an upgrade prompt when tapping the Location field.

Adding a location to a task

  1. Tap a task to open it.
  2. Tap the Location field.
  3. A search sheet appears — type an address, place name, or landmark.
  4. Tap a result to select it.
  5. The location is saved automatically.

Viewing the location

Once added, a map preview is shown on the task detail screen below the location field. Tap the map or the address to open the location in your device's default maps app for directions.

Opening a location from a notification

When a task reminder notification appears and the task has a location attached, you can tap Open in Maps directly from the notification to get directions without opening the app first.

Location on notes and reflections

You can also add a location to notes and journal reflections using the same search flow. This is useful for tagging where you wrote a note or made a journal entry.

Removing a location

  1. Tap the Location field to open the search sheet.
  2. Tap Clear at the bottom of the sheet.

The location is removed immediately.

Location tagging attaches a place to your items for reference. It does not send automatic reminders when you arrive at or leave a location.
