Steadier notes and lists, and French throughout
Improvements
🗒️ Notes back in columns
Notes of different heights stack into columns again, the same way as in the mobile app, so shorter ones no longer leave gaps.
🦮 Easier with a screen reader
Screen readers now name each task and note by its title, and announce the sections and panels around them.
Fixes
📝 Edits made just before closing a note
A change you type into a note right before closing or reloading the tab is now saved, instead of being lost.
📋 New lists that show what you add
Occasionally, a task added to a list you'd only just created stayed hidden until you reloaded the page. It now appears straight away, and a new list keeps the cover you picked.
🇫🇷 French throughout
If you use the app in French, help articles, release notes and the upgrade checkout now open in French, along with the few screens that were still in English.
📅 Days until a due date
The countdown beside a task's due date could fall a day short, reading “in 1 day” for a task due the day after tomorrow. It now counts calendar days.
⏰ Clearing a due date
Clearing a task's due date now also clears a schedule set to “On due date” and any reminder timed from it, instead of leaving them behind.
⭐ One highlight a day
Moving a highlighted task to another day now takes its star off, so a day never ends up with two highlights.
↕️ Reordering tasks on Today
Drag a task up within its time of day and it now lands where you drop it, and letting go of a task over its own spot leaves it there.
📶 Lists that can't open yet
A list that hasn't downloaded now says you're offline or waiting for a connection, and one that's no longer shared with you says so, instead of claiming it no longer exists.
⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts
Cmd or Ctrl+B and I now make text bold and italic in notes, task descriptions and list details, and Today's [ and ] shortcuts for the previous and next week work on keyboards such as French AZERTY.
